He was born in Baku in 1947. In 1968 he finished State School of Arts named after A.Azimzadeh. He graduated from Leningrad Higher School of Arts named after V.Mukhin and Leningrad State Institute, the faculty of Theatre, Music and Film Painter in 1968-1978. He works as a cartoonist at “Kirpi” satiric magazine and periodical press from 1970. He is the member of the Union of Azerbaijan Artists from 1980. He is the honorary member of the Union of Georgia Artists from 1998. He is a participant and winner of international contests held in the Republic and abroad. In 2004 he was honored with “Humay” national award. In 2006 he was honored with the name of “Sulhun elchisi” (“Messenger of Peace”) and with the diploma of “Simurg” for his publicity of Azerbaijan Art in foreign countries. He is the author of nearly 1500 scientific and publicistic articles. He is the member of Azerbaijan Cartoonists’ Union from 2007
