The monument of Azim Azimzada was unveiled in Baku
The monument of the first cartoonist of Azerbaijan Azim Azimzada was opened on December of this year. The sublime monument and composition consisting of his works were placed and exhibited in the center of the city in one of the parks of inner town “Ichary Shahar”. I am sure that this park will be the most preferable and lovely place of the inhabitants of our city, our guests and especially of the cartoon fans.
At the same time in the “Ichary Shahar” in the so called “ART Garden” exhibition salon the exhibition consisting of the works of cartoonist was arranged. The admirers of Azimzada creative work, the community of the city and the family members of the cartoonist took part in the exhibition. This event is the obvious indicator of the state care and nation love to the cartoonist and his creative work.
